One of my favorite dishes of all times is pasta with homemade sauce. However, I often feel heavy after wolfing down a big bowl (or two). This plant-based version is a great alternative to get the same deliciousness, without the guilt. One of the best purchases I made is a Veggie Spirializer. The one I bought is called Veggetti and cost $14.99 from Walmart. You can also pick up one of these at Target, CVS, Bed, Bath & Beyond and here on Amazon: http://amzn.to/17neoL4

Totally worth it!

For this recipe, you will need:
1 Zucchini
3 Tomatoes (chopped)
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
2 Cloves garlic
Fresh or dried basil (as much as you'd like)
1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes (optional)

Salt & Pepper (optional)
2 Pitted Dates or Raisins (for added natural sweetness)

Steps:
1) Using a spirializer, spirialze the noodles (zucchini)
2) In the food processor, add the rest of the ingredients and pulse until semi-smooth.
3) Enjoy a big heaping bowl of pasta and sauce!

What Clients Are Saying

"I attended Sara's Free Spirit Yoga classes a handful of times. It was my favorite class offered at the studio because her energy was unique, uninhibited and seemed that she was able to offer every person in the room something to take away. It was an incredibly rejuvenating and enriching experience each time. Sara has had a profound impact on me in a way that is extremely uplifting and positive. She has provided me with practical tools on where to begin with creating a home space and practice for yoga. Sara is a beautiful soul with a light that shines bright in many ways."
