These simple and healthy no-bake energy bites provide a satisfying boost after a sweaty yoga class or workout. I'm always experimenting with different kinds, but here's the recipe I whipped up today.
What you'll need:
2 cups raw almonds
1.5 cups raisns
1 cup ground flax seed
1 tablespoon honey (I used 100% Organic White Forest Honey
2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
1 tsp Maca Powder
1) Add the almonds to the food processor and pulse into small pieces (about 30 seconds). This can also be done with a knife.. Place aside in bowl
2) Add the raisns and flaxseed to the processor. Mix for a few minutes until the raisns begin the loose thier shape and becomes sticky.
3) Add the almonds, honey, peanutbutter and Maca powder to the mixtue of raisns and flaxseeds. Pulse a few times until combined.
4) Form balls using the palm of your hand. I like to keep these refrigerated but they don't need to be.
Enjoy!
